Adopt a Pebble

Fans of Eastbourne's Blue Flag beaches are being given the chance to 'Adopt-a-Pebble' after large numbers of frightened pebbles were washed up in the New Year stormy weather.

 

Adopting a pebble is completely FREE, with a choice of five loveable characters, each with its own unique personality.  In return we will re-home the pebbles and keep you updated on their progress with regular newsletters from the resort.

Skimmer

Skimmer loves all watersports, especially surfing the waves and cooling off in the sea at Eastbourne's Blue Flag award winning beaches, causing quite a splash with the ladies.

Foss
Foss is the oldest pebble looking for a new home.  He enjoys browsing around Eastbourne's historical sites, the New Art Gallery and listening to classical music at the Bandstand.
Bubbles
Bubbles is friendly, fun and giggly.  She enjoys pampering herself at spa's and sea weed wraps are a favourite.  She enjoys alfresco wining and dining and is a big fan of the International Women's Open tennis championships at Eastbourne's Devonshire Park.
Pablo
Pablo is an overseas student from Italy and is smart and handsome.  He loves Eastbourne's beach and drinking coffee alfresco at Sovereign Harbour, and loves to dance to live tribute acts at Eastbourne Bandstand - Abba is his favourite.
Nugget

Nugget is the baby of the group, happy and a little cheeky.  Nugget loves to play on Eastbourne's KidzSafe beaches and loves Eastbourne Extreme, Go Fast Speed Days and the aerobatic planes at Airbourne.
