Feastbourne Provides a Flavour of Things to Come
Kicking off with the sell out success of the Eastbourne Beer Festival, the festival continued to fill up many of the master classes presenting everything from organic veg with the Observer Food Monthly’s award winning Bills of Lewes to a tasting of the best chocolate in the World from a Master Chocolatier.
Eastbourne Borough Council Spokesperson for Tourism, Councillor David Elkin said “With such excellent fresh local food and drink right here on our doorstep, I am delighted that Feastbourne has been so well received, however this is only a small taster of things to come. With the support of all those local businesses and organisations involved, we can look forward to an even bigger festival next year.”
Eastbourne Beer Festival brought in the biggest crowd as over 3,500 visitors sampled over 1,600 gallons of real ale, cider and perry. The new Thursday evening Jam session format also proved popular, returning on the Saturday night due to high demand.
